Every year, the Euroradio Christmas Music Day is eagerly awaited by listeners throughout Europe and beyond. On the Sunday before Christmas, EBU radio organizations contribute live or deferred concerts of music focused on the theme of Christmas. It has been one of the EBU’s most popular offerings ever since it first aired in 1995.

Kanteles, fiddles, accordions, balalaikas, throat singing, yodelling: these and many more can be heard at the annual Euroradio Folk Festival (EFF), where bands and artists redefine the frontiers of folk music through their ethno, jazz, traditional and crossover projects. More than a mere festival, this event is a platform presenting the incredible diversity of musical genres and sounds of all lifestyles in European folk music.

Let the Peoples Sing 
The Copenhagen Girls Choir (Denmark, entered by Danish Radio) has won the prestigious Silver Rose Bowl, the highest honour of the competition at Let the Peoples Sing (LTPS) 2024. Triumphing with works by Matti Borg, Maurice Duruflé and Karin Rehnqvist, the Copenhagen Girls Choir was also awarded the Children and Youth category.
