EBU launches new Eurovision News site to centralise and focus its services

The EBU has launched a new website for Eurovision News, the collaborative news network powering real-time journalism across Europe and beyond.

At eurovisionnews.ebu.ch, you'll find a fresh, focused view of the services, values, and partnerships that drive the EBU’s news operations, including the News Exchange, which connects more than 70 public service media organisations in more than 50 countries.

“Eurovision News is one of the most powerful examples of what journalism can achieve when organizations work together,” said Liz Corbin, EBU’s Director of News.

“The new site is your gateway to the content and support you need to run an efficient, impactful news operation. It also explains our mission clearly to our Members, our partners, and to anyone engaged in delivering trustworthy, independent journalism.”

The platform centralizes Eurovision News’ unique offerings, from the News Exchange – a conduit for verified daily coverage from around the world – to breaking news coordination services, and editorial partnerships on industry-defining issues, from misinformation to AI.

The site also highlights innovations, including joint investigative projects, news training initiatives, and collaborations with international organisations and news agencies.

“This isn’t just a website refresh,” Corbin added. “It’s a new window onto an unequalled network built on trust, solidarity, and a shared belief that public service journalism is essential to our collective future.”
