This Recommendation provides guidance to users of reference monitors capable of a peak luminance in excess of 1000 cd/m2.
This document provides predefined modes of operation for reference video monitors used in programme production. Tables of parameters for a range of target luminance values together with examples of how to adjust settings for different viewing environments are provided in the Annex to the Recommendation.
An interactive HLG calculator and its source code are also available.
