PSM AI Strategies Group

The PSM AI Strategies Group brings together EBU Members to discuss the latest strategic AI developments across public service media and to help shape PSM AI strategies that drive innovation, improve business operations, and keep Members at the forefront of AI technologies, data governance, and ethical practices.

This group invites PSM stakeholders working across strategy, tech, legal, data, and content to work together and foster collaborations to guide AI adoption, integration, and innovation, aligning efforts with PSM AI strategic priorities set out by the EBU.

Scope & Focus Areas

1. Identify Key Needs & Areas of Collaboration: Pinpoint key areas for collaboration to drive AI growth and innovation within the public service media sector.
2. Knowledge Sharing: Promote awareness of emerging AI trends and address challenges, open questions and ethical considerations.
3. Strengthen Synergies & Find Scale in Cooperation: Encourage cross-functional collaboration to maximize AI impact among EBU Members.
4. Create a Forum for Exchange: Provide a space for ongoing dialogue and best practice sharing on AI strategies for public service media.
5. Build a Network: Connect EBU Members to share key learnings, resources, recommendations and cases to inspire each other.
6. Foster Big Tech Partnerships: Stay updated on key industry trends and regulations through external partnerships with Big Tech.
