"Smart (New) Work” Visit to Radio Bremen

"Smart (New) Work” Visit to Radio Bremen

Overview

Visit Radio Bremen to learn about “Smart (New) Work” - an inspiring story of empowering employees to bring about positive change.

It started when the Bremen public service media asked, how can it become fit for the future? What will teams, structures and processes look like? And, what role can the employees play in such development?

The result is “Smart (New) Work”, an award-winning project in which around 100 workers have suggested and actioned around 70 positive changes within 3.5 years at Radio Bremen - framed by clear goals defined by the management board. These results are making the organization more effective.

EBU Academy, with our colleagues at EBU Transformation Services, is arranging a visit to Radio Bremen to hear first hand about “Smart (New) Work” from leaders, advisors to the project and most importantly staff. As part of this, you will also be able to see the physical changes made within the media building itself.

Includes the option of a guided sightseeing tour of some world heritage Site of Bremen City Centre the evening before (starting at 6.30 p.m. at the Roland statue at "Marktplatz“) the visit and a self pay dinner.
