Fans across Europe can follow every moment of the BMW IBU World Championships Biathlon from Lenzerheide, Switzerland thanks to extensive live coverage by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and dozens of its Members.
The championships – from 12 to 23 February 2025 – will get unprecedented exposure in the host nation, with Swiss broadcasters SRF (German), RTS (French), and RSI (Italian) providing comprehensive live coverage across all competition days.
This marks the first time that all three Swiss national broadcasters will offer full coverage of the event, significantly increasing biathlon’s visibility in Switzerland.

The World Championships are also widely covered in many other broadcast formats. This strengthens our conviction that Lenzerheide 2025 will give the sport of biathlon an enormous boost in popularity in Switzerland."
A total of 27 rights holders will spotlight the event, reaching audiences in 53 territories across Europe.
Viewers in Germany can tune in via ZDF and ARD, while TV2 and NRK will provide extensive coverage in Norway. SVT (Sweden) and L’Équipe (France) will continue their long-standing commitment to the sport, with Eurosport ensuring further access throughout the continent.
Biathlon fans in Iceland (RÚV) and in Turkey (TRT) will also be able to watch more live coverage than ever before, marking an exciting expansion of EBU’s biathlon reach beyond its traditional territories.
Robert Portman, EBU Head of Winter Sports, said: “Biathlon continues to captivate audiences with its blend of drama and emotion, making it one of the most engaging winter sports we’re able to bring to viewers across Europe. We are really excited for the World Championships in Lenzerheide, as the season has already delivered strong ratings in key markets thanks to the efforts of our Members and broadcast partners.”
