Why do people perceive colours differently on WCG displays?

Presenter(s): Dr. Andrew Stockman (UCL), Dr. Andy Rider (UCL), and John Frith

Recording of the presentations given by three leading colour science experts who provided detailed insight in the way people may perceive the same colours as (very) different. This is especially relevant in the light of ongoing efforts to render more of the ITU-R BT.2020 colours with Wide Colour Gamut (WCG) display technology and for the measurement of how well they do so.

Besides a clear explanation of why people may perceive the same colours differently on WCG displays, the presenters also introduced a mathematical model to calculate those differences.
