Overview
The annual Alumni Reunion where all former participants to the EBU Academy Executive Programme meet to discuss common challenges and work together to identify solutions.
This is part of EBU Academy’s PSM Compass Bootcamp, a portfolio of courses and learning activities supporting those working in advocacy and communications. This is in support of the EBU’s PSM Compass, an online toolkit helping Members take on existential threats. Take 3 or more events in the Bootcamp series and you will be awarded a special diploma from EBU Academy.
Executive Network
The Executive Programme Alumni group is a media Executive Network at the top level.
Alumni activities include:
- An annual alumni reunion to learn, discuss leading-edge business thinking and build business relationships.
- A closed Facebook page where participants share news, relevant articles and ideas.
- Active WhatsApp groups where alumni share their news.

Deutsche Welle ( DW ) is the international broadcaster of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Axel Springer formed the PREMIUM-GRUPPE with the WELT Group, POLITICO Germany, and Business Insider Germany. CORRECTIV: Investigative Journalism in the Public Interest
CORRECTIV is a media house oriented towards the public good. They strengthen democracy through journalism, media education, and technology. As an award-winning non-profit newsroom, they shine a spotlight on power and injustices, expose disinformation, and provide arguments and methods for all those who want to participate in shaping their environment. CORRECTIV.Europe is a network of over 350 European media outlets and journalists. They support local journalists by offering access to investigative tools and capacity-building opportunities. They also deliver them with impactful data-driven investigations to foster an informed, active citizenry and strengthen local democracy.
Publix
Publix is a building in Berlin Neukölln that hosts more than 30 editorial teams and NGOs focused on civil society-oriented journalism and and media literacy education. It offers co-working spaces, audio and video studios, and curates a public program, fellowships, and collaborations between media outlets in Germany and across Europe. Publix aims to contribute to a diverse and independent media landscape, foster journalistic innovation, strengthen democratic discourse, and counteract disinformation.
The Public Service Incubator of ARD:
The Public Service Incubator of ARD and partners is a project that focuses on how to develop strong relationships with the users as a Public Service Broadcaster and how to create constructive dialogues on its platforms - something that is becoming more and more relevant as media consumption habits of users are changing more and more towards AI Apps, where media brands don´t even appear, and as social media often doesn´t allow constructive dialogues.
