Overview

This interactive class provides a practical, scenario-based learning experience where participants engage in a structured simulation of a cybersecurity incident.  As a trainee, you'll gain critical insights to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of cybersecurity incidents in the fast-paced environment of public media.

You will work through realistic, media-specific cybersecurity incidents to understand potential attack vectors and threats and experience, hands-on, how to develop effective responses, focusing on timeliness, communication, decision-making, and coordination. You will also review how to conduct comprehensive evaluations after an incident, identifying lessons learned and areas for improvement.
