With decades of deeply entrenched gender roles to overcome, women are still greatly underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This means that far more women could be enjoying hugely rewarding careers in the field. And until this is the case, the media technology sector is leaving large amounts of insight, creativity, and productivity on the table.
