Learn how to use AI-based verification tools in this veraAI series of online training sessions

The veraAI project is a Horizon Europe project developing AI-based tools to help media professionals verify information. The EBU is one of the consortium partners and has been working to make sure that the tools’ design and implementation fit Members needs and workflows.

Now that the project is in its third and final year, EBU Technology & Innovation and EBU Academy are organizing a series of online training workshops to allow fact-checkers, journalists, media researchers and any EBU Members interested in AI-based verification to learn how to use these tools.

These short 1-hour interactive sessions are taking place daily between 12 and 16 May. Out tutors will teach participants how to detect synthetic media, geolocate images, track disinformation campaigns and more. Those interested can choose to attend any combination of individual session.
