A European Perspective on Defence

As war continues on the continent and global geopolitical tensions grow, defence has moved to the top of the European agenda. Across the Union, governments are rethinking priorities, weighing up spending, and facing divided public opinions. 

In this context, A European Perspective - in the fourth in a series of co-produced stories - has taken a closer look at how EU countries are responding, revealing a mixed picture of investment levels and public support. Journalists and editors from 12 newsrooms worked together to contribute to the collaborative report, which also features an interactive map of European Public Service Media reporting on defence.
